Sujit Choudhry is an astounding academic who specializes in the field of constitutional law and politics. Formerly the dean of UC Berkeley Law, he was the first person of Indian origin to be named dean of a top US law school. He’s also a notable lawyer, educator, and author who graduated from Harvard Law School, and held the Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship from Harvard.

In addition to receiving several awards and fellowships, including the Practitioner of the Year Award from the South Asian Bar Association, the Trudeau Foundation Fellowship for his work in post-conflict constitutional law, and the William E. Taylor Memorial Fellowship, Sujit has published over 90 articles, book chapters, working papers, and reports. He currently holds the position of I. Michael Heyman Professor of Law at UC Berkeley School of Law and lives with his wife and two children in California. He is living his purpose one scholar at a time.
