Have you ever wanted to turn your dream into a reality or your idea into a lifestyle?

Every great life, invention, business, product, and accomplishment started with an idea or dream. Every great journey starts with a first step and this message is your first step in seeing your dream become a reality.

What goes through your mind when you’re scrolling through social media and see someone living out a dream you have had? Do you think, “That’s impossible; they’ve got all the luck; only some people get to live their dream; why didn’t I have what they have; or if I just was given the money they were given?” These types of thought processes are the exact reason why you might not be living the life you’ve dreamed of.

The fact is no matter how successful, popular, famous or rich someone is they still have the same amount of time in a day that you have: 24 hours. It’s how they spend those hours each day that differentiates them from the rest of the world. They just chose not to work for someone else’s dream; they decided to give theirs a shot.

In my life I have realized there are two ways to watch and see your dreams happen. First, you watch others do it. Second, you go and do it. So here are two tips that will help you live out your dreams.

1) Watch & Learn

One of the most internally painful things to watch is someone else living your dream life. Your thoughts in those moments reveal your heart. Do you feel jealous, angry, and disappointed or do you feel excited, stirred up and energized? What you feel in those moments dictates how you handle others successes. If you’re disappointed, angry or jealous, all your energy is being sucked into the entitlement mentality that empties your ability to learn and progress. If you celebrate their life and success it reveals that you see what 99% of the opportunities the world doesn’t see.

Although this could be your sappy, sad moment on how you’ve been screwed in life, it also can be your driving force moment to pursue your desires and dreams at a new level. The fact that someone else is accomplishing your dream shows it’s possible. That alone should be fuel to propel you into pursuing that desire and dream.

So watch and learn from their life and begin to pursue your dreams. Watch the way they live, eat, work and think. Study their habits and the way they handle their relationships, conflict, disappointment and adversity. Learn from their mistakes and setbacks and make a comeback on your dream and future. Start thinking from the inside out and change the way you see others winning around you. It might just set you up for a win yourself.

2) Go & Do

A dream unwritten is an idea but a dream written is a goal. Goals have deadlines and plans. It’s time to stop dreaming and start planning.

Stop sleeping and start living because the best dreams happen when you’re awake!

Every time I have taken a step closer to living my dream I’ve realized that anything is possible if you set your heart and mind to seeing it accomplished. The price I’ve paid for my dreams allow me to cherish and appreciated them more.

I remember putting in 90-hour weeks and not having an income for over 18 months because it was what needed to happen to fully focus my life into the fulfillment of my dream. I remember people saying it’s impossible, being ridiculed and attacked but I also remember not regretting it because I finally found what I loved to do more than anything.

I have had so many people say, “We just wish we could do what you’re doing.” I wish I could reply with, “You could. You’re just not willing to pay the price I paid.” People mean well but their statement is infused with victimization and entitlement. If people realized that I’ve made the same choices any person would have to make to live out their dream, then maybe they would have the courage to step into their dreams.

Don’t forget that you can do whatever you want to do in life. You’re the coach and the boss of your destiny. No one has control of your dreams or desires like you do. So go and do it and you will never regret it. Begin to take steps to realizing your dreams. Turn the corner and start to learn from your mistakes. Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day so if you’re not building your dream then somebody else will.

Very inspiring. I was introduced to the power of “I AM”, the Law of Attraction (through “The Secret” and other publications) and have recently decided after years of trials and tribulations, witnessing the power work when I truly believed in it, to put them to use and live out my dreams. Only now am I serious and stumbled across your site researching Goal and Life planning. I look forward to the experience and do not think it was a mistake!
