Jose Del Barrio is the CEO of Samaipata Ventures, a venture capital fund that aims to become the reference in European marketplaces and is reinventing venture capital. He sold his former company, The Red Fridge, for $100 million in one of the biggest internet execs Spain had ever seen at the time. After the sale, he wanted to keep supporting the Spanish startup ecosystem and started Samaipata Ventures, which now boasts a portfolio that includes European businesses like OnTruck, FoodCheri, Jinn, CornerJob, DeporVillage and La Nevera Roja. Jose is extremely passionate about his business and loves involving himself in everything he can. He graduated from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and lives in Madrid, Spain. Jose is changing the world one idea at a time.
